My approach is sensitive, patient, and accepting. I feel that my role is to be a compassionate guide and facilitator to help you learn about yourself, your roots, your helpful and unhelpful personal habits, and patterns with others.
I view therapy as a collaborative process where you can tell your story, explore your feelings, increase insight, and build self-awareness. I see therapy as an opportunity for growth and reflection.
My specialty is working with individuals who have experienced trauma. I also work with adolescents and adults, providing a safe space to explore issues related to depression, anxiety, LGBT issues, stress, pregnancy, and postpartum depression.
I utilize talk therapy, sand play, Jungian techniques, dream work, and art to aid in the healing journey.

My client-centered approach to therapy uses a variety of change strategies to assist others in developing new and healthier meanings in their lives. In particular, my work centers on helping my clients identify and alter unhealthy patterns of thinking that lead to negative feelings and behaviors.
Whether it be helping individuals, couples, or families conquer problems ranging from anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, and anger problems, to relationship issues and stress-related conditions, my down-to-earth style provides a collaborative environment that leads to positive growth.
With more than 20 years of clinical experience, I served as a psychologist in the US Air Force during the early 1990s and have worked in private practice in the Cleveland area since 1995.
